Jacques Du Toit (born 2 January 1980, Port Elizabeth, South Africa) is a cricketer who plays for Leicestershire. He is a middle order batsman who can also bowl.
Cricket career[]
Originally from South Africa, English qualified Du Toit has been plying his trade at Leicestershire since 2008. Playing along side South Africans HD Ackerman, Boeta Dippenaar and Claude Henderson, Du Toit has often been mistaken for a Kolpak player. In 2008 he made his maiden first class century against Northamptonshire and his highest one day score came when he smashed 144 from 119 balls in the NatWest Pro40 game with Glamorgan opening the batting, although it was not enough to prevent a four-wicket defeat.
